Jeanette Marie joined family in heaven, Sunday, February 9, 2014. Her departure was too sudden and too soon, but we are greatly consoled by picturing her arrival through the gates of heaven and the welcome she received.
Jeanette leaves a legacy of a life of love and kindness, generosity and helpfulness, creativity and talent, humor and laughter. As a teacher at First Baptist Christian Academy and Shiloh Christian School, she deeply touched the lives of her students. She is remembered as a teacher who truly loved and cared for each child. The imprint of her life lives on in them. Jeanette would be amazed to know how far her sphere of influence reaches and how many lives will never be same for knowing her.
Growing up as an “army brat,” she made many lasting friendships. She loved travel and enjoyed living in Germany most of all. Visiting museums, castles, and historic places built a strong love of history and art, influencing her decision to major in history. She also loved nature and enjoyed many family camping trips.
Jeanette also lived in Texas for awhile as she attended Texas Bible Institute and had many enduring friendships and fond memories from those years as well.
For a life so shortly lived, Jeanette blessed many, many people, and she is greatly missed by all who knew her.
